Students from BEIT won the first prize of the 2nd China Graduate Robot Innovation Design Competition


  September 23-25,The final of the 2nd China Graduate Robot Innovation Design Competition was held at the West China Science and Technology Innovation Port in Xi 'an,A total of 154 teams from 69 universities and research institutes, including Tsinghua University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Zhejiang University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Xi 'an Jiaotong University and Beijing Institute of Technology, entered the final,After the field display, group defense and expert inquiry and other links of fierce competition,Beijing Institute of Technology "Robotic Jerry" graduate team won the first prize (20,000 yuan),The winning work is "Micro Intelligent Bionic Robot Mouse"。In this robot competition, our school won 1 first prize, 1 second prize and 4 third prizes, and our school won the "Excellent Organization Unit" award。

  China Graduate Student Robot Innovation Design Competition is one of the theme competitions of "China Graduate Student Innovation Practice Series Competition",It is directed by the Department of Degree Management and Graduate Education of the Ministry of Education and the Center for Degree and Graduate Education Development of the Ministry of Education,It is organized by Chinese Association of Degree and Graduate Education and Youth Science and Technology Center of China Association for Science and Technology,Xi 'an Jiaotong University, Shaanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Shaanxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, Shaanxi Provincial Academic Degree Committee Office, Xi 'an Science and Technology Bureau。The competition focuses on various fields such as robotics and its applications,Focus on assessing graduate students' ability to market demand insight, innovative design and key technology realization,According to the maturity and technical characteristics of creative works, it is divided into three categories: simulation group, component group and integration group,It involves many fields of robot technology and applications such as advanced industrial robots, medical robots, service robots for the elderly and the disabled, etc。During the finals, activities such as "2020 Artificial Intelligence/Robot Academic High-end Forum", "2020 Artificial Intelligence/Robot High-end Professional Talent Recruitment Fair" and "2020 Artificial intelligence/Robot Industry Exhibition" were also held, providing a rich practice, display and exchange platform for participating teachers and students。
